Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Literally Remember has no user accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits. Everything you enter in the app — names, reminders, preferences — is stored only on your device and never leaves it.

Calendar access

If you choose to enable calendar features, the app reads your calendar entirely on your device to generate reminders. Your calendar data is never uploaded, transmitted, shared, or visible to us or to anyone else. You can revoke calendar access at any time in your device's Settings, and the app continues to work without it.

Notifications

All reminders and notifications are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's standard notification system. No notification content is sent to or through any external service.

Email you send us

If you choose to contact us or ask to join our newsletter, we receive only the email you send. We use your email address solely to reply and, if you requested it, to send the newsletter. We never sell or share your email address, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any newsletter.

The newsletter (Mom Brain)

When you sign up — on weeklymombrain.vercel.app, through an ad, or by emailing us — we store your email address with Klaviyo, the service we use to send the newsletter. Klaviyo records when an email is opened or a link is clicked, so we know which issues are useful. We never sell or share your address, we don't use it for anything but Mom Brain, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe and we stop, immediately.

Some links in the newsletter are Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. Amazon's own privacy policy applies once you're on their site.

Children's privacy

Literally Remember is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Any names you enter for your family members exist only on your own device.

Your rights

The app holds no data about you — your information stays on your device, and deleting the app deletes all of it. For the newsletter, you can unsubscribe from any email, or write to us and we will delete your address and any correspondence.

Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change (for example, if a future feature requires a service we operate), we will update this policy, change the effective date above, and describe the change plainly before it applies to you.
